When it comes to instagram I like to keep the feed flowing and have more of a vintage film vibe to my photos. Although using a real film camera to get my pics is a pretty rare occurrence that I like to save for special events. So to keep the theme going here’s how I edit my photos to make them look kind of a little bit somewhat similar to film photos.
My favourite go to photo editing app is RNI Films here's my step by step process when editing my photos.
1. open up RNI FILMS, and load up my photo
2. Pick a filter that goes well with the colours in the photo.
3. Put the filter strength down to around half way,
that way the filter isn't too bright and fake looking.
4. Play with the brightness and contrast to
bring out the richer colours in the photo.
5. Layer grain over the photo, this gives the
photo more of a vintage film feel.
6. Lastly layer some dust. I like to do this just subtly to give the photo another vintage touch.
